My low rating is not so much for the operation of the product but for the advertisement. I have yet to install the item but the add says "Wall Mount". The fine print description says "shower mount". Use caution, this item is a 'Shower Mount' hand shower. If you need a "Wall Mount' hand shower (as I did), try the #56513 not the 56613. I bought this item because of the great traditional look and the high arch which I figured would help fill tall pots. The only negative aspect in my opinion is that you cannot rinse/wash pots or dishes, etc at waist level because the water splatters on you and the countertops. I have to wash dishes in the very bottom of the sink and may even lower the water pressure so as not to be wet from the faucet spray. It seems to be a great faucet and I love the looks. I really like the mag-tite feature of this faucet. The others that I looked at all had a small gap between the arm and the head of the faucet. There is no gap with this faucet.. The oiled rubbed bronze looks good and there is enough shiny parts showing so it is not all dark in color. I wanted a unique faucet for our powder room and knew I had found it with this one. Everyone who sees it will make a comment about it or ask where we got it from. The waterfall can be a bit powerful when turned on full blast and can splash a lot and I'm not fond of the stopper mechanism in the back of the faucet as it comes out on an angle. In most cases this wouldn't be a big deal but when you have a granite backsplash there simply isn't enough room to pull the stopper up with it being on an angle. This is a beautiful faucet that matches well with the look of the Kohler Memoirs pedestal sink I'm installing it on. It looks and feels like very good quality from above the sink. However, the connections from below seem cheap. The feed to each handle is about 1.5" too long. From the side if a pedestal sink the connections are visible. If you want to use nice chrome feed tubes for a professional install forget it unless you modify the faucet handles as shipped. I'm going to consult a Plummer to see if we can cut them back, use a compression fitting, and keep the connection hidden. Looks beautiful. Works well. Spray and reach of faucet works good. Water from spout can splash up if sink is not deep enough. Handle works well and is easy to adjust.Soap dispenser is easy to install but must be secured . Function however of dispenser is excellent. I installed this faucet in stainless steel in my 1950's ranch bathroom. It is the first small step toward a remodel, and gives a fresh feel to the room. It was fairly simple to install, and I love the clean lines. This is a well made, beautifully functioning faucet. It will also serve those who wish to upgrade to something that allows for "aging in place" without looking like it came out of an institution. I wanted a unique faucet for our powder room and knew I had found it with this one. Everyone who sees it will make a comment about it or ask where we got it from. The waterfall can be a bit powerful when turned on full blast and can splash a lot and I'm not fond of the stopper mechanism in the back of the faucet as it comes out on an angle. In most cases this wouldn't be a big deal but when you have a granite backsplash there simply isn't enough room to pull the stopper up with it being on an angle.
