This brand new Delta Dryden 3551 Two Handle Widespread Lavatory Faucet, Chrome, (Not CA/VT Compliant)

This is a beautiful faucet that matches well with the look of the Kohler Memoirs pedestal sink I'm installing it on. It looks and feels like very good quality from above the sink. However, the connections from below seem cheap. The feed to each handle is about 1.5" too long. From the side if a pedestal sink the connections are visible. If you want to use nice chrome feed tubes for a professional install forget it unless you modify the faucet handles as shipped. I'm going to consult a Plummer to see if we can cut them back, use a compression fitting, and keep the connection hidden.
